Sustainable Lifestyle Choices: Doing a Bit of Good Every Day

At immaculate®, our commitment to a kinder choice doesn’t stop at what goes in the can. It’s a mindset that extends to how we all live, work and show up for the world each day. We’re not trying for perfection in all that we do - it’s about a progress. And our team is all about doing a little bit more good, every day, in whatever way we can.

Our Founder's Favourite Low-Waste Rituals

Sustainability starts at home.

immaculate® co-founder and CEO Lynne recycles religiously. Lynne swears by using her coffee grinds every day in her own vegetable plot (although the cake she made with used coffee grinds was a bit of a disaster!).

Used lemons in the dishwasher brings a wonderful lemony freshness (and only run when completely full and overnight to save energy costs).

Refill stores for kitchen cupboard basics where possible, beeswax wraps instead of plastic and carefully using up leftover food instead of throwing it out. Not managed to set up a composting bin yet but that's next on the to-do list...

Lynne travels by train whenever she can, pretty much NEVER prints anything out, and mostly (although not always) buys and sells vintage clothes…often reusing fabulous material to make into unique items at her weekly sewing class.

Every small switch adds up and the benefits do compound over time.

Five Ways We Drink More Mindfully

We use beautiful reusable glassware and straws to elevate the AF experience.

We walk, cycle or take the train to gatherings, reducing our carbon footprint.

We share drinks consciously, offering alcohol-free choices to create inclusive spaces.

We drink slower, tuning into taste, rather than rushing the ritual.

We talk about our alcohol-free choices with pride, helping to normalise mindful drinking.

Conscious Celebrations

Entertaining doesn’t need to come with waste. We love hosting with seasonal snacks made from local ingredients where possible.

Swapping out paper napkins for lovely fabric ones which can be washed and reused time and time again.

Ditching single-use plastics altogether by using beautiful glassware, serving dishes and compostable alternatives when needed.

Soy or beeswax candles instead of synthetic ones.

Choosing decorations that can be reused or repurposed - greenery from the garden, dried flowers, or even herbs everyone can take home. Thoughtful touches with no guilt!

Sunday Reset: Slowing Down with Purpose

At immaculate® we’re all big fans of a Slow Sunday. Whether it’s a long forest or river walk with our four-legged friends, or curling up with a book and the cats for Lynne, these small rituals help us slow down. It’s a reset that keeps us grounded and gently energised for the week ahead.

Live kindly. Live sustainably. Live cleanly. Just a little bit more of each every day. That’s the immaculate® way.
